U.S. Sen. Ashley Moody leads Democrat Alex Vindman in Florida’s U.S. Senate race, according to a new poll released by the Associated Industries of Florida (AIF) Center for Political Strategy.
The survey found Moody, the AIF-endorsed candidate, with 47% support among likely general election voters, compared with 40% for Vindman. Fourteen percent of respondents were undecided.
The poll also found Moody’s support to be firmer than Vindman’s. While Vindman drew support from 40% of respondents overall, 29% said they were “definitely” voting for him. By comparison, 35% of voters said they were definitely backing Moody.
AIF said Moody leads in a majority of Florida media markets. Her largest advantage came in Fort Myers, where she led by 41 points. She also posted leads of 22 points in Jacksonville, 19 points in the Panhandle, and 5 points each in Tampa and Orlando. Vindman led by 8 points in the Miami media market, though that region also had the highest share of undecided voters at 21%.
The poll showed Moody ahead across several demographic groups. Among white voters, she led 52% to 37%. Among Hispanic voters, she led 48% to 38%. Moody also held a 9-point lead among men, 49% to 40%, and a 5-point lead among women, 45% to 40%. Women registered a higher undecided rate than men, 16% to 11%.
The poll surveyed 800 likely 2026 general election voters in Florida from June 3 through June 7. It was conducted by McLaughlin & Associates and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
