The Florida Realtors PAC is endorsing Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody in her 2022 re-election bid.

Florida Realtors, the state’s largest trade group, announced in a press release on Wednesday that they are supporting the Plant City Republican’s campaign this November.

“Attorney General Ashley Moody has been a significant force for good in our state and her actions have been essential in making Florida one of the fastest growing states in the nation,” said Danny Nix, Chair of the Florida Realtors® PAC Trustees. “She understands that a safe, law-abiding state will have the greatest success in achieving prosperity and growth, which is exactly what Florida is experiencing right now.”

Moody, a fifth-generation Floridian, attended the University of Florida where she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting in addition to her law degree. She later attended Stetson University College of Law earning a Masters of Law in International Law.

She began her legal career with the law firm of Holland & Knight where she practiced commercial litigation. She would later join the United States Attorney’s Office prosecuting drug, firearm, and fraud offenses, before becoming the youngest judge in Florida when she was elected Circuit Court Judge of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in Hillsborough County in 2006.

Moody defeated former state Rep. Sean Shaw in 2018 to become Florida’s 38th Attorney General.

She currently serves as the Chair of Florida’s Statewide Council on Human Trafficking and is on the frontlines in the fight against the federal vaccine mandates, bolstering border security by federal officials, and the harmful actions of Big Tech.

“Realizing the American dream of homeownership is a goal that many Floridians work toward, including those relocating to the Sunshine State in order to raise a family and earn a living,” said Moody. “As Florida’s Attorney General, I look forward to working with the Florida Realtors® to ensure our state is a welcoming, prosperous, and safe haven for all residents.

With Moody running unopposed in the Republican primary, she has her sights set on November where she will be squaring off against a Democratic challenger. Those vying to face Moody include ‘Grim Reaper’ Daniel Uhlfelder, Aramis Ayala, a former Orange-Osceola State Attorney, and Fort Lauderdale attorney Jim Lewis.
