The NFIB Florida PAC has endorsed a slate of pro-small business candidates for the upcoming Florida Legislature elections.

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) announced its first round of endorsements for candidates in the upcoming Florida Legislature elections on Wednesday, in a selection the group stated prioritizes the needs and growth of small businesses throughout Florida.

“Florida’s small business owners know the importance of electing candidates that will prioritize the small business economy and we believe this group of candidates will do just that,” said Bill Herrle, NFIB Florida Executive Director. “These candidates understand the issues that are most important to our members and have committed to supporting pro-growth policies. The NFIB Florida PAC is proud to endorse them and we’re confident they will be strong advocates for Florida’s small business owners in the legislature.”

The endorsed Senate candidates include Tom Leek in District 7, Keith Truenow in District 13, Randy Fine in District 19, and Ed Hooper in District 21. In the House races, the endorsements include Sam Greco in District 19, Judson Sapp in District 20, Erika Booth in District 35, Brad Yeager in District 56, James Buchanan in District 74, Dana Trabulsy in District 84, and Fabian Basabe in District 106.

The NFIB Florida PAC is a political action committee that supports small businesses by endorsing pro-business candidates and advocating for policies that benefit small business owners. Key issues for the PAC include tax relief, regulatory reform, affordable healthcare, and fair labor laws.
