The Republican Party of Florida is strengthening its leadership team for the 2024 elections by appointing George Riley as Executive Director and Alexander Pantinakis as Political Director.

The Republican Party of Florida is gearing up for the 2024 elections with the announcement of two key leadership appointments by Chairman Evan Power.

George Riley, a staffer within the party, has been appointed as the Executive Director. Riley’s tenure with the Republican Party of Florida began in 2008, and since then, he has held numerous positions, including a significant role as Executive Director from 2016 to 2019.

“George Riley is a tremendous asset to our Party and I’m pleased to have him serve as Executive Director as we continue to make Florida a Republican stronghold,” said Power.

Joining him in a strategic capacity is Alexander Pantinakis, a political strategist from Jacksonville, who will serve as the Party’s Political Director. Pantinakis has a track record of working with successful Republican candidates across various levels of government and has been an influential figure in Florida’s political arena for over a decade. He has also been recognized as one of Influence Magazine’s “30 under 30 in Florida Politics” and as one of the “Top 10 People to Watch in Jacksonville Politics” by Jacksonville Bold.

“Alex Pantinakis is a great talent. I am extremely pleased that he will join us to help us build our grassroots operation to deliver victories across Florida in November,” said Power.

By the end of 2023, the Republican Party of Florida had surpassed the Florida Democratic Party by more than 800,000 registered voters. Additionally, Republicans have secured every statewide office, hold the majority of Florida’s congressional seats, and possess supermajorities in both the Florida House and Senate.
