ServiceNow, a software company specializing in artificial intelligence platforms for business automation, announced plans to establish a regional innovation hub and AI Institute in West Palm Beach.
According to the company, the facility will focus on enterprise AI research, workforce training, and customer collaboration. It will include an AI Institute, a startup accelerator for early-stage technology firms, and a ServiceNow University program offering AI-related education and certification. The programs are designed to support technology adoption across industries while expanding workforce development opportunities in the region.
The project is expected to generate more than $1.8 billion in economic activity and create over 850 jobs through 2030. The site will employ workers across multiple business functions, including software engineering, product development, and research operations. ServiceNow said hiring, research partnerships, and pilot programming will begin in the coming months, with the facility scheduled to open in 2028.
“The AI innovation economy has a new epicenter in the Gold Coast of West Palm Beach, Florida,” said Bill McDermott, chairman and CEO of ServiceNow. “West Palm Beach is the latest move in ServiceNow’s tradition of embracing bold economic developments across the country. This will be a compelling magnet for talent, a strong engine for growth, and a dynamic hub for America’s AI leadership.”
Stephen Ross, chairman and CEO of Related Ross, said the development aligns with ongoing efforts to strengthen South Florida’s technology sector.
“As a leader in enterprise AI, ServiceNow will catalyze innovation and economic opportunity in West Palm Beach,” Ross said.
The AI Institute will operate alongside ServiceNow’s “RiseUp with ServiceNow” program, which provides training and career pathways for workers entering the technology sector.
The company said it plans to collaborate with universities, workforce boards, and local employers to expand access to technical education in Florida.
