Three influential Tallahassee leaders have formed a new partnership aimed at assisting Florida based organizations with landing state contracts, grants and philanthropic funding for state-based projects.

The new firm, All Things Florida Consulting, LLC., will feature Tom Feeney, former President and CEO of Associated Industries of Florida (AIF), and former Congressman and Speaker of the Florida House; Dr. Ed Moore, former President of the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida, Executive Director of RESET Florida and Staff Director for Policy in the Florida House of Representatives; and Ryan Visco Fierst an attorney, former Senior Management Analyst, and Program Director at the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, Public Policy Director for the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, and Legislative Director to Congressman Tom Feeney.

Their focus will be to provide policy and funding solutions for Florida associations and local governments and assist clients by facilitating the process so they can build capacity and programs to meet their needs and those of their members.

“We are the third largest state, and continuing to grow”, said Moore. “Our diverse population, especially our large senior population, requires added focus on health and wellness. Meanwhile, it is essential that we work with our state partners and stakeholders to find solutions to meet the immense workforce needs our state is facing.”

The three bring a wealth of experience in consulting and advocacy to the new venture. Feeney’s leadership stint with AIF made him one of the most well-connected advocacy executives in the state. AIF counts some of the largest corporations in Florida as its members.

Meanwhile, Moore’s experience as the top advocate for Florida’s independent colleges and universities gives him unique insights into higher education challenges and gives him a wealth of education experts he can call upon.

Visco Fierst’s legal background and experience within the state’s premier economic advocacy agency, as well as her similar out of state experience, adds another dimension to the team.

“We know workforce is a top priority of our clients, no matter the sector, and our team has the collective years of experience to assist them with developing program strategies to meet those needs.”Feeney added. “Our mission and vision is to connect Florida stakeholders with potential funding resources at the federal, state, and local levels, and to make sure they have the tools they need to meet the challenges of the 21st century economy. I’m looking forward to working with this team to assist our clients in building legacy projects that keep our state ever competitive and resilient.

“It’s a great privilege to work with 2 individuals who I’ve long considered mentors in my professional career and who have both worked to bring commonsense and fiscally-sound solutions to our state for so many years. I’m excited to join this partnership and use my background in law, public policy, and program and grant management to work to assist Florida associations and local governments with building their capacity and seeking funding solutions,” said Visco Fierst.
