The South Florida Water Management District has named the new executive director to replace Peter Antonacci, who’s leaving to take over as CEO for Enterprise Florida.

The South Florida Water Management District has promoted Ernie Marks as the new leader of the water district

Marks has been serving the SFWMD as director of the project in the Everglades.

Marks’ resume includes working for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission as well as the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
