Chamberlin scores another backer in HD 24, this time it’s John Stemberger’s Florida Family Action

  • Florida’s House District 24 Special Election continues to tilt Ryan Chamberlin’s way with a recent endorsement from one of the state’s leading conservative advocacy groups.
  • Chamberlin’s recent polling and fundraising leads have positioned him as the frontrunner in the contest, which is set for March 7th.
  • Chamberlin has pushed hard to position himself as staunchly aligned with Gov. Ron DeSantis’s educational reforms and family values.

With a new endorsement to accompany his polling and fundraising leads, Ryan Chamberlin continues to show momentum as the man to beat in the race for Florida’s House District 24 Special Election. Today, Chamberlin announced the endorsement of Florida Family Action. The group is an affiliate of one of the state’s most influential conservative cultural advocacy groups, the Florida Family Policy Council.

“As a small business owner, conservative leader, father, and husband, Ryan Chamberlin knows firsthand the threats facing the family and our freedoms in our nation right now,” said John Stemberger, President of FFA.“As such, Ryan will be a staunch advocate for life, parental rights, and religious freedom, and we are proud to endorse him for State House Special Election in District 24.”

The endorsement comes on the heels of a poll last week by Victory Insights, which showed Chamberlin with a five point lead over Jose Juarez and an eight point lead over former State Rep. Charlie Stone. The poll, taken on February 13 and 14, shows Chamberlin leading the field with nearly 25% of likely Republican voters in the district supporting him. However, with more than 28% of voters remain undecided, Chamberlin is taking nothing for granted.

“As a faith-driven father and husband, I strongly believe in the core family values our nation was founded on,” said Chamberlin in a press release about the endorsement. “Today, the traditional family is suffering under constant attacks from the left, and I can’t stay silent on the sidelines as they push their harmful agenda on Florida families. This issue is very close to my heart, so I’m looking forward to working alongside Gov. Ron DeSantis and FFA to fight for these foundational, conservative principles in the Florida House.”

In addition to Chamberlin, Juarez and Stone, two other Republicans have also qualified to be on the ballot: Justin Albright, and Stephen Pyles. The special election is scheduled for March 7, 2023.
