Kat Cammack signed a pledge on Monday, promising to support the repeal of the Federal Estate Tax if elected to represent Florida 3rd Congressional District.
Cammack, a small business owner and former deputy chief of staff for retiring U.S. Representative Ted Yoho, joined other conservative officials in championing the end of the “death tax” that penalizes the success of individuals and continues to harm small businesses.
“It is crucial for us to send leaders to Congress who will be focused on cutting taxes, especially incredibly unfair ones like the Federal Estate Tax,” Cammack said in a press release.
“Repealing the Death Tax would create jobs, raise wages, and lead to economic growth. Furthermore, I have always found this particular tax to be egregiously unjust. The Federal Estate Tax is often paid by forcing grieving families to have to sell assets like farms and small businesses, destroying generations of hard work and aspirations of the American dream,” Cammack said.”
“As a staunch fiscal conservative, the voters of FL-03 can be certain that I will fight to repeal this tax and countless others that unnecessarily and unfairly take more money out of your pockets in order to grow government and stifle private sector growth.”

The longtime Yoho staffer and founder of Grit Strategies launched her campaign in December and is one of ten Republicans running to replace her old boss — who decided to step down, upholding a campaign promise to do so after four terms in Congress.
Also seeking the GOP nomination are businessman Judson Sapp, Clay County Commissioner Gavin Rollins, Gainesville City Commissioner Todd Chase, former congressional aide Joe Millado, physician James St. George, businessman Ryan Chamberlin, businessman Bill Engelbrecht, businessman David Theus, and businesswoman Amy Pope Wells
CD-3 includes Alachua, Bradford, Marion, Union, Putnam, and Clay counties and is largely made up of Republican voters. Yoho won the red district in 2016 earning 57.6% of the vote.
Kat is a very nice person, but borderline incompetent and one of the least qualified candidates seeking CD-3. She would be a very ineffective Congresswoman if elected and why Congressman Yoho has not endorsed her.
She is a great “cheerleader” but not one who can get the job done!!
