Keiser University was ranked in the top 25 for social mobility in the U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 Best Colleges rankings for the fifth consecutive year, recognized for advancing opportunities for economically disadvantaged students.
Keiser University secured a top 25 spot in social mobility in the U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 Best Colleges rankings, marking the fifth consecutive year the institution has been recognized for its efforts in promoting upward mobility for economically disadvantaged students.
The social mobility ranking assesses universities based on their ability to graduate students who receive Pell Grants at similar rates to students who do not receive the grants. Keiser University has placed among the top schools in the category since U.S. News introduced the ranking in 2020. Last year, the university was ranked 21st for social mobility, following a number 1 ranking in 2023, and previous positions of 5th in 2022, 11th in 2021, and 34th in 2020.
“We are deeply honored to once again be recognized as one of the top universities in the nation for advancing social mobility,” said Keiser University Chancellor Arthur Keiser, Ph.D., in a statement.
The U.S. News rankings evaluate over 1,800 institutions nationwide based on factors such as graduation rates, class size, academic reputation, and faculty research. This year’s rankings placed increased emphasis on social mobility, with new metrics for first-generation student graduation rates. Keiser also maintained its position among the top 300 universities in the National Universities category.
Keiser University, which enrolls approximately 20,000 students across 21 Florida, international, and online campuses, focuses on offering degrees in emerging and critical industries to address workforce needs.
“Central to Keiser University’s mission is our unwavering dedication to student success and career advancement. We take great pride in continually developing resources that are uniquely tailored to our students’ needs, helping them achieve the American Dream,” said Keiser. “Our commitment to improving the lives of individuals and strengthening communities throughout Florida and across the nation remains as strong as ever.”
